Cheese TALKS was created at the start of lockdown 2020 as a means to continue supporting Australian cheesemakers and expand our outreach to fellow cheese lovers like yourself. Since the start in April 2020, we have conducted over 10 sessions of Cheese TALKS with over 400 participants from all around Australia!
A cheesemaker will be featured for each session where 4 of their cheeses and a bottle of paired Australian wine will be delivered to participants. For an hour on ZOOM, we talk all about the cheese and the maker, indulge in their cheeses, and drink.
It is a great Friday evening experience from the comforts of your own home with your friends and family.
Ripe’s Cheese-talks were my favourite Iso-find of Melb Lockdown 1.0. I’ve tasted a range of delicious Aussie cheeses - many of which I wouldn’t have selected for myself. With the bubbly & energetic Hakim as host it’s been a pleasure to learn more about the cheese making process & gain a greater appreciation of the diversity of cheese making in Australia.
